DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?
As you should have known, “Do you believe in magic?” is the title and the refrain of a 60’s famous song by “The Lovin’ Spoonful”.
The answer may be changeful through the years.
Children DO believe in magic, fiercely. Grownups, on the other hand, they DO want to believe in magic although reality shows us in another direction.
So in order to prove ourselves that magic goes a long way, this month reading it has been “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.
The very first book of the “Harry Potter Saga” by J. K. Rowling.
We all know about the success of the character and the novels and the movies and its author.
However, as also happens in magic, there is always a dark side of the character, the novel and its polemical author.
About this and other matters related to the book and the author, we will talk over the next club meeting.
As a first-time reader of “Harry Potter”, I have to say that it is a magic and awesome book, full of references and with a good update of the classic magic and mythological books.
Therefore, in this case, I would say that I do not know for sure if I believe in magic but I do believe in Harry Potter.
